Statement from Mayor Francis Suarez on Governor's nomination

Miami, FL - Governor Ron DeSantis has announced Judge Robert J. Luck as his pick for the Supreme Court. Judge Luck is a hardworking and dedicated community leader who has diligently served our community for over ten-years. Throughout his career he has served as Circuit Court Judge, Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, and Legislative Correspondent for Senators Paul Coverdell and Jon Kyl. In each of his roles he has positively impacted the lives of many and demonstrated his commitment to our community.

During our time at the University of Florida Levin College of Law he demonstrated his commitment to the law by graduating with magna cum laude honors, joining the Order of the Coif. upon graduation, and serving as Editor-in- Chief of the Florida Law Review," said Mayor Francis Suarez.
