TRUENOORD ORDERS 20+30 E-JETS FROM EMBRAER

 

Embraer SA (EMBR3) announced a major agreement with TrueNoord, a specialist regional aircraft leasing company, during its investor meeting at the New York Stock Exchange. The contract includes a firm order for 20 E195-E2 aircraft and purchase rights for up to 20 additional E195-E2 and 10 E175-E1 jets. The firm order is valued at USD 1.8 billion at list prices.

The deal represents the first direct aircraft order placed by TrueNoord with a manufacturer, signaling its strategic expansion in the crossover jet segment. It also reinforces the momentum behind Embraer’s E2 program, which has continued to gain traction among airlines and leasing companies throughout 2025.

TrueNoord is an Amsterdam-based specialist regional aircraft leasing company. Founded in 2016, it provides leasing, financing, and asset management services for regional airlines around the world. The company focuses on aircraft with a capacity of 50 to 150 seats, including turboprops and regional jets from manufacturers such as Embraer, Airbus, and De Havilland Canada. Its business model is centered on investing in, acquiring, and leasing modern regional aircraft to airlines globally, enabling carriers to manage fleet strategies and connect smaller and larger urban centers.

TrueNoord was established by its CEO, Anne-Bart Tieleman, and is supported by cornerstone investors, including BlackRock, Freshstream, and Patria.
